Frontier Spelling Lists

The structure of our online course requires students to complete quizzes based on the early sections of the chapter. These are generally foundational concepts that students will need to understand in order to be successful in later sections. Students need to score 70% on the quiz in two attempts. Quiz scores are reviewed daily by the instructor to provide feedback and change the number of attempts as needed. Students have commented that this can break continuity when you have to pause to have a quiz re-opened. My response, it is important for students to understand these early concepts.

In selected assignments short videos created with Camtasia or Snagit are required viewing before attempting the material in the section. There are no points associated with the videos, only a prerequisite to the selected assignment. Recently a review video in each chapter has been added to help students recall the material and bring everything together.
