Rather than a text based script that students would read online I created videos hoping to create more engagement with students. Students will also be using the Flip Grid platform to create introductions of themselves to the class. Videos still need to be close captioned.

Flip Grid is a free platform that allows students to do video introductions. If asked for a password, MathIsFun.
Students are asked to respond to these prompts in their 90 second introduction.

Your name and any nicknames.
Your major or area of emphasis here at Aims.
Give an example of math you used in the last week?
After successfully completing this math class, what is you next math class?
What do you see yourself doing in 5 years?
